An Ode ...

My favorite auntie was born on this day a few years ago. Since she is pure magic and one of my all-time favorite people, I thought I'd write her a little poem:

Dear Auntie Kate,

I think you are great.

You're more than an aunt,

You are a best mate.

You are patient and kind,

Have really great hair,

Like to hike and have fun,

And live with such flair.

So on this, the day of your birth,

I wish you a time of laughter and mirth. 

And because you are super-nifty,

Hope you enjoy the last few years, before you hit sixty.
